軸索反射反應
當對精確界定的皮膚表面給予熱(如用moor SHO2進行加熱)、電或化學(如用moor MIC2離子導入乙酰膽堿)刺激時,除受刺激區域的皮膚以外,其周邊區域皮膚的微循環血流也出現上升,形成潮紅、充血、甚至水腫等反應。這種由刺激引發逆向神經信號傳輸,導致神經支配的血管發生舒張的過程即軸突反射性炎癥反應,也稱為充血反應。軸突反射性炎癥反應的缺失常常意味著周圍神經特別是小纖維神經功能異常,是對由糖尿病或其它疾病引發的小纖維神經病或周圍神經疾病的靈敏檢測指標,可對糖尿病足等疾病做出準確的早期診斷。
激光多普勒血流監測儀(moorVMS-LDF)用于評價血管舒張的幅度以及其隨時間的變化,而通過激光多普勒成像儀(moorLDI2)或激光散斑成像儀(moorFLPI)可得到充血面積等更多的信息。例如在糖尿病足早期,下肢小纖維神經功能受損導致其充血面積明顯小于正常反應。
